World Natural Heritage Associated Declaration of Danxia Landform in China Start-up

    On 12 December, 2006, the symposium on World Heritage Associated Declaration of Five Great Mountains in China and World Natural Heritage Associated Declaration of Danxia Landform was held in Changsha City, Hunan Province. After discussion the participants reached a consensus and made a decision that integrated the Danxia Landform regions which possessed the declaration condition, in the name of “Danxia Landform in China”, associated declared the world natural heritage, and that strived to be the world heritage nomination submitted to UNESCO in 2009.
